There is growing concern about an uptick in violence from the hard left, not that it’s surprising given the tone of the media after the election of President Donald J. Trump for a second time.
The media is up to its old tricks of skewing its coverage to push a left-wing agenda, believing its their moral calling while paying no heed to the consequences of their bias — at least in a best case scenario, as some who are paying attention would be quick to suggest they want to sow seeds of discontent.
On that note, NBC News found itself in an embarrassing position after falsely claiming 14,000 children in Gaza could die over 48 hours. The story came two days before a pro-Palestine extremist was arrested in Washington, D.C., for the alleged murder of two Jewish employees at the Israeli Embassy. While being taken into custody, the accused killer cried out, “Free Palestine!”
The network would delete a post on X promoting the false story after the BBC determined it was based on an incorrect interpretation of a report issued by the UN’s Integrated Food Security Phase Classification (IPC).
48 hours ago the media including NBC spread a false story, using a now retracted statement, claiming 14,000 Gazan kids could die in 48 hours.

“Around 14,000 babies face severe malnutrition if a lot more aid trucks don’t reach the Palestinian enclave soon, UN aid group said,” a replacement post read.
It’s not a stretch to suggest, as noted above, that “the media blood libel riled up hate against Israel.” Then again, this is par for the course when it comes to how the media covers Israel.
The UN official pushing the claim was Tom Fletcher, the UN’s under-secretary-general for humanitarian affairs.
Eylon Levy, a former spokesman for Israel’s government, told The Times of Israel that Fletcher “should hand in his resignation immediately for causing a global media panic about something totally made up. He is either a complete numpty or malicious. Either way, serving Hamas’ war goals.”
Here’s a quick sampling of responses to the story, as seen on X:
Why aren’t class action suits against @NBCNews @CBSNews @CNN and the like an option? A class of showing damage to minimum 100 million should end them all. Blatant lies and misinformation daily.

The media is complicit. So is every politician falsely claiming this is a genocide and trying to run defense for visa holders promoting hate.

The media, democrats and neo-Nazis on the same side of an issue.
All calling for the same thing.
What do they think “From the river to the sea” means? (Rhetorical)

Legacy media needs to be sued out of existence. They are nothing more than propaganda generators and are now complicit in creating this narrative. They need to be held accountable.
