New claims over 2022 traffic stop of Dem’s beloved deported gangster just got so much worse

The Tennessee Highway Patrol (THP) has confirmed that the left’s beloved poster child, MS-13 gang member Kilmar Abrego Garcia, was previously blocked from being detained by the Biden administration.

Citing anonymous sources, The Tennessee Star originally reported on Wednesday that Garcia was stopped by the THP for speeding and driving erratically on Dec. 6th, 2022. It turned out he was also driving without a valid license and valid plates. But there’s more.

“[T]he THP officer responsible for the stop immediately discovered Abrego Garcia was transporting seven passengers, with eight individuals inside the vehicle,” according to the Star.

Concerned that Garcia was engaging in human trafficking, THP officers contacted the FBI, which at the time was being run by Christopher Wray.

“The FBI instructed the THP officers at the scene to capture photographs of all eight people in the vehicle and document its contents,” the Star notes. “Once the photographs were captured … the FBI requested THP release all eight individuals.”

That included Garcia, who was in the country illegally, and whom THP officers strongly suspected was a human trafficker.

On Thursday, the Star filed a new report revealing that it’d received official confirmation from THP substantiating its initial reporting.

“The Tennessee Highway Patrol can confirm a 2022 traffic stop of Kilmar Armando Abrego Garcia, who was stopped for speeding on I-40,” a THP spokesperson said.

“Per standard protocol, the THP contacted federal law enforcement authorities with the Biden-era FBI—the agency of jurisdiction—who made the decision not to detain him,” they added.

That same day, Just This News obtained access to official documents also confirming the existence of the 2022 traffic stop. One segment of the documents mentions THP’s suspicion that Garcia was engaged in human smuggling.

“During the interview, subject pretended to speak less English than he was capable of and attempted to put encountering officer off-track by responding to questions with questions,” the entry reads.

“When asked what relationship he had with the registered owner of the vehicle, subject replied the owner of the vehicle is his boss, and that his work is in construction. There was no luggage in the vehicle, leading the encountering officer to suspect this was a human trafficking incident,” it continues.

A separate document reviewed by Just The News noted that Garcia’s car was flagged by the Department of Homeland Security’s Baltimore office as a suspected human trafficking vehicle.

“Vehicle is used by HSI Baltimore target in human smuggling/trafficking operation,” the document reads. “Vehicle makes trips to southern border to pick up noncitizens.”

These new findings add another twist to the tale of Garcia, an El Salvadorian citizen illegally in the U.S. who was recently detained by the Trump administration and then shipped off to a maximum-security prison in his home country.

His deportation to a foreign prison has sparked massive pushback from the left, who argue that he was denied due process, meaning he was never given a chance in court to prove his innocence.

According to the left, Garcia is a perfectly innocent man who’s never done any wrong, who was falsely accused of being part of MS-13, and who deserves to return “home” to the United States to finish living his life.

In fairness to the left, the Supreme Court has ruled 9-0 that the Trump administration must “facilitate” Garcia’s return to the U.S. However, the administration has thus far effectively ignored the order, arguing that it no longer has any jurisdiction over the now-deported illegal alien.

But in fairness to the right, the evidence against Garcia is copious and includes a 2019 encounter with the police, as well as a domestic violence claim filed against him by his wife about a decade ago.

Kilmar Abrego Garcia had a history of violence and was not the upstanding “Maryland Man” the media has portrayed him as.

Of course, his wife is now his biggest advocate, claiming that the domestic violence claim was filed as an act of caution and that things between her and her husband have since improved.

The problem is that his wife has been exposed as a liar:
