Newly Released Crime Scene Video Shows Trail Of Blood At Nancy Guthrie’s Home

Video released by NewsNation Tuesday showed a bloody trail at the front door of Nancy Guthrie’s house.

This is the first visual evidence released to the public as the investigation into the disappearance of Savannah Guthrie’s 84-year-oldmother continues. The video, obtained by the Daily Caller, showed the absence of a Ring doorbell camera that was mounted near the entrance of the home. Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos said investigators are working to determine whether the perpetrator removed the camera from the home, according to NewsNation.

The video was released shortly after media outlet TMZ claimed to have received a ransom note demanding millions in cryptocurrency be deposited into a verified Bitcoin account “or else.” They alleged that the note contained details specific to the crime scene and items of clothing belonging to Nancy.

The outlet reported that they turned the ransom information over to the police, and it now forms a part of their investigation. Police have not yet confirmed the legitimacy of the demands.

Nancy Guthrie was last seen Saturday night and was reported as a missing person on Sunday, after failing to show up at church as planned.

Police previously reported that she may have been snatched from her bed, and indicated there were visible signs of forced entry at the residence. (RELATED: Alleged Nancy Guthrie Ransom Note Gets Received By Media Outlet)
