NJ Driver ‘Marty McHigh’ Arrested Twice in One Week After Crashing DeLorean Loaded Up With Cocaine

New Jersey police say a Harrington Park man was arrested twice in the same week on DUI charges, including during a midday crash involving a 1981 DeLorean that officers say contained 87 individually wrapped baggies of cocaine, as reported by The New York Post.

According to New Milford Police, officers responded around 12:20 p.m. on Monday after witnessing a vehicle collide with a parked car.

The vehicle, a vintage DeLorean similar to the model featured in the “Back to the Future” films, was being driven by 33-year-old Luke Randall.

Police said the officer at the scene believed Randall was intoxicated during the crash.

During the search of the vehicle, police reported finding multiple vodka bottles and 87 baggies of suspected cocaine packaged individually. Randall was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, careless driving, and reckless driving.

The department noted that Randall had been arrested only days earlier on Nov. 3 in the same area.

The DeLorean DMC-12, a replica of the car from the movie Back to the Future, built by Damian Muzzi, owner of Delaware Star Cars, is featured at Banning Park near Newport, on Oct. 25, 2024. Muzzi builds replicas of famous cars from movies and TV shows.

In that incident, officers reported that Randall was seen throwing objects from a vehicle and driving carelessly. He was charged with driving while intoxicated in that case as well.

Authorities have not released additional details on potential drug distribution charges connected to the baggies discovered in the DeLorean. The investigation remains ongoing.

Randall is scheduled for upcoming court proceedings on the full list of charges stemming from both incidents.
