‘No Follow-Up Question’: Bill Clinton Calls Out Democrats’ Trump-Epstein Antics

Video released Monday shows former President Bill Clinton criticizing Democrats during his deposition in the Jeffrey Epstein probe and pushing back on the party’s repeated efforts to tie President Donald Trump to the sex trafficker.

The House Oversight Committee held private depositions with Clinton and his wife, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, on Friday and Thursday, respectively, as part of its ongoing investigation into matters related to Epstein. The committee released footage showing the 42nd president speaking up during his deposition to clarify that Trump had never said anything to him to give him the impression of any “improper” ties to the late convicted pedophile.

“I hate this because I don’t believe I should inject anything, but I do not want to leave the impression since there was no follow-up question,” Clinton said, referring to Democrats. “The president, this is 20-something years ago, never said anything to me to make me think he was involved in anything improper with regard to Epstein.”

Clinton further emphasized that he was telling the truth and said he wants all relevant information made public so Americans can see the full picture.

“That’s the truth, as I said earlier. The only conversation I have with President Trump about this was in the early 2000s, and I have no information that he did anything wrong. I just want it all out there. I want everybody to get it all out there and let everybody see where we are,” Clinton added.

The Clintons agreed to sit for depositions before the House Oversight Committee on Feb. 2 on the condition that lawmakers make the testimony public. Lawmakers sought their testimony after the Department of Justice released files and photographs placing Bill Clinton in contact with Epstein and his associate, Ghislaine Maxwell.

One image the Department of Justice (DOJ) released in December 2025 showed former President Clinton sitting in a hot tub with Epstein and a young woman whose face officials redacted. During his testimony, Clinton told lawmakers he did not know the woman and denied having sexual relations with her. Additional photographs showed the former president socializing with Maxwell and posing with Epstein at what appeared to be a dinner gathering. Documents made public on Feb. 1 indicated that Maxwell helped financially support the Clinton Global Initiative, Clinton’s flagship post-White House project, according to The New York Times. The Wall Street Journal first reported that Clinton sent Epstein a birthday letter in 2003 that Maxwell later included in a commemorative album.

Clinton spokesperson Angel Ureña said the former president has “nothing to hide” and called for the full release of all files. Ahead of his deposition, Clinton issued a statement claiming he never witnessed misconduct by Epstein and had no knowledge of his crimes, while criticizing the committee for summoning Hillary Clinton and insisting she never met Epstein or had any involvement with him.
