Noah Lyles Pushed By Rival Kenny Bednarek After 200M Win, Leads To Intense Confrontation

The sparks were flying here!

During the U.S. track and field championships, Olympian Noah Lyles was the victor in the 200-meter final, but the finish ended up leading to quite the tense confrontation between him and rival Kenny Bednarek, who came in second place behind Lyles.

Lyles was pushed by Bednarek, with the latter doing so after Lyles gave him a look behind him while coming across the finish line. Instantly, the two got into a heated confrontation as Lyles was spotted on video yelling something at his rival. (RELATED: Mimi Rhodes Makes Absolutely Insane Hole-In-One In Women’s British Open)

Bednarek immediately approached Lyles to shake his hand, but Lyles seemed to have no interest as he continued to stare at him. Then, Bednark started talking to Lyles, appearing to say “I expect my apology” before the two parted ways.

Originally, fans in attendance didn’t spot the push, but when the replay popped up on the Jumbotron, the crowd reacted loudly.

This would eventually lead to a brief back-and-forth between the two while being interviewed, which you can see here.

Two takes from me here: 1. Adin Ross needs to set up a Brand Risk boxing match between Noah Lyles and Kenny Bednarek, that needs to happen since we’re starting to get physical, and 2. Lyles still needs to race Tyreek Hill since he likes challenging people so much.

I have nothing to say about Noah Lyles until those two things happen.
