‘Odd Behaviors’: Son Of Two Music Icons Arrested After Incident At School

Elijah Allman, the son of Cher and late rock star Gregg Allman, was reportedly arrested Friday night in New Hampshire after allegedly “causing a disturbance and acting belligerently” at a private school he has no association with, police said.

Allman, 49, was arrested for several trespassing charges at the elite Concord, New Hampshire prep school called St. Paul’s School — and is accused of “exhibiting some odd behaviors in the dining hall area,” by expressing “inappropriate” gestures to girls at the school and using a cane as an assault weapon, according to Patch.com.

Local police were called to the school following reports of an “unwanted” individual at the snowy campus, per the outlet.

Allman was reportedly booked for criminal trespass, disorderly conduct as well as assault and threat charges. Allman was released from the Merrimack County Jail via personal recognizance, according to the outlet. (RELATED: ‘He Was A Pig’: Cher Savagely Slams Famous Movie Director)

The star-studded suspect has no known ties to the school, and TMZ sources are unsure as to why Allman was there, according to TMZ.com.

The last time Allman garnered media buzz was when he overdosed on drugs last summer and was hospitalized in the Golden State at Joshua Tree, TMZ previously reported. This occurred just two months after his now ex-wife Marieanglea King filed divorce papers after being married to Allman for 13 years.

In 2022, King accused Cher of kidnapping her son, as she reportedly hired 4 men to abduct him and transport him to rehab, People reported.

Allman can expect an arraignment in the coming days.
