Ole Miss’ Austin Simmons Hilariously Trolls Georgia State’s Tyler Scott Who Snatched His Teammate’s Chain

Tyler Scott … what are we doing, brother?

If there’s a debate going on anywhere regarding who suffered the most embarrassment during the first full weekend of college football, I’d like to nominate Georgia State cornerback Tyler Scott.

Scott’s Panthers squared off against the Rebels in a Saturday road contest, which ultimately ended in an Ole Miss blowout. However, before we got to that point, the Auburn transfer sparked up a fight with Rebels defensive end Da’Shawn Womack as he and his teammates were heading into the stadium. And get this: He did it by snatching Womack’s chain right off his neck, tossing it into the stands.

According to GSU head coach Dell McGee, Womack grabbed the towel that Scott had, which triggered a retaliation. (RELATED: So This Explains Why Alabama Got Pummeled Into Ground By Florida State)

You can see the chain-snatching here.

Things went horribly for Scott after that. The Rebels thrashed the Panthers,63-7, and not just that, but Scott didn’t see one second of action throughout the entire game.

When we got to Monday, Ole Miss quarterback Austin Simmons posted several photos from the victory, and one of the pictures happened to be a screenshot of Scott’s ESPN player profile. And it’s absolute gold.

I get that Tyler Scott might have been provoked, but all this guy did was make himself look like a thoroughbred idiot. Not only did you commit theft, but then your head coach responds by not playing you at all?

Terrible, just terrible.
