Oregon Predator Principal Sentenced in Child Pornography Case, Said ‘Good Riddance’ to Charlie Kirk | The American Spectator

An Oregon high school principal was sentenced to over five years in prison for possession of child sexual abuse content, just months after celebrating the death of Charlie Kirk.

Jeremy Peter Williams was sentenced on Feb. 23 after he pleaded guilty to “three counts of first-degree possession of depictions of a minor engaged in sexually explicit conduct.” Williams, who served as principal of Rainier Jr./Sr. High School, was arrested in September when Cowlitz County, Washington, investigators received tips from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children about his online activity. 

Williams was on paid administrative leave in September when he said, “Oh, too bad, good riddance” in response to the Charlie Kirk assassination. He was initially charged with 13 counts involving child pornography, the Daily Caller reported.

According to KATU News, a prosecutor said investigators found “at least 31 images of [child sexual abuse material] … associated with Mr. Williams under the circumstances which would involve vulnerable victims, most egregious of which includes in particular an image with a sexual act on an infant child of concern.” These images were then shared on Discord and Kik. A forensic examination found “approximately 2,400 files containing child sexual abuse material” in addition to “a large deletion event.”

The former principal said he engaged in “age-based sexual role play” and exchanged abusive materials during those online interactions. Williams claimed his parents were “Christian fundamentalists” who gave him “religious trauma” and told him that he “would go to Hell” if he “had bad thoughts.” 

The Chronicle reported that Williams offered “a softly spoken short apology” on Jan 12. when he pleaded guilty. He was principal of the high school for the past decade, and he was a teacher for 13 years prior. 

Williams claimed, “I’ve never done anything with a student” in an interview with investigators. Officials also stated they found “no evidence indicating that any students in that school district were involved. The Rainier School District has confirmed that Williams was on paid administrative leave at the time of his arrest for an unrelated issue” according to a Cowlitz County Sheriff’s Office press release.

Elon Musk, who commented on the news on X, stated, “Another one.” Another X user said, “These are the types of people actively entrusted to teach our kids and also communists [sic] zombies that are indoctrinating our children.” Eric Daugherty of RightLineNews added, “Our enemies are disgusting creatures.”

William will be required to register as a sex offender for 15 years and serve three years of community custody following his release.
