Pam Bondi Says Dems Screamed and Stormed Out After Complaining About C-SPAN [WATCH]

A closed-door House Oversight Committee briefing with Attorney General Pam Bondi ended abruptly on Wednesday after several Democrat members raised objections over the absence of cameras and left the meeting without asking questions, as reported by The Gateway Pundit.

The briefing, which also included Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche, focused on the Justice Department’s handling of files related to Jeffrey Epstein.

The session was scheduled as part of ongoing congressional oversight and comes ahead of a planned deposition involving Bondi.

House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer had previously subpoenaed Bondi for a deposition set for April 14, 2026.

The subpoena follows concerns raised by Comer regarding compliance with the Epstein Files Transparency Act, which was signed into law by President Trump in November, as well as what he described as “possible mismanagement” of the investigation into Epstein and his associates.

According to accounts from the briefing, tensions escalated when Democrat members objected to the lack of C-SPAN cameras in the room.

Bondi later stated that one lawmaker “screamed” about the absence of cameras and declined to proceed with questioning.

During a press exchange following the meeting, Bondi addressed the walkout.

“We were there to answer questions. It’s the evening. We came at their convenience. We gave them really as much time as they wanted. And one congresswoman screamed that C-SPAN wasn’t in there, so she didn’t want to ask questions yet. All day long, they’ve been on social media saying they had all these questions. We sat there saying, ‘Anything you want to ask us—ask us anything you want to ask us.’ And they screamed C-SPAN wasn’t there—one of them—and then they stormed out of the meeting.”

A reporter had asked Bondi about the Democrats’ characterization of the briefing.

“Democrats on the committee walked out. They called it a, quote, ‘fake hearing,’ and said you were just trying to get around appearing for a deposition. Can you respond to this?”

Following the briefing, Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights Harmeet Dhillon posted on X, criticizing the conduct of the lawmakers involved.

“The Democrats on this committee behaved like petulant children and created drama and stormed out. So much for wanting the truth!”
