Woah … what’s gotten into Paul Finebaum? (I’m loving it.)
Paul Finebaum, a host for SEC Network, spoke with OutKick’s Clay Travis and said that he had a chance to interview President Donald Trump back in 2019. However, his employer ESPN “killed” it.
The story Finebaum told stemmed from Nov. 2019 when the SEC Network wanted to have something “big” planned for the No. 1 LSU vs. No. 2 Alabama contest that was taking place on the 9th. (RELATED: Paul Finebaum Says Kirk Murder Inspired Him To Consider Senate Run)
Finebaum talked with a friend who was in Washington D.C., and that individual questioned the college football legend regarding whether or not he would have interest in President Trump being on his program. Finebaum would have had to travel to D.C. from New York in order to do the interview from the White House, to which the analyst agreed. And then he told ESPN about it.
“I called my boss, and they killed it,” said Finebaum, per OutKick. “I was devastated. They told me that we were not allowed to mix politics with sports.”

It’s funny that ESPN told Finebaum that he wasn’t “allowed to mix politics with sports,” nevermind the consecutive years of left-wing nonsense that we’ve had to deal with from them.
With all this talk though, I’m like … what’s gotten into Paul Finebaum exposing his employer? Are we really going to get a Senate run?
