Penn State Head Coach James Franklin Spotted On Video Arguing With Fan

Looks like we’re in store for another interesting season in Happy Valley…

Penn State head football coach James Franklin ended up getting into an argument with a fan recently, and holy moly, the views are something else.

The 2024 season was a success for Franklin & Co., with the Nittany Lions tallying a 13-3 record and making it all the way to the College Football Playoff semi-finals. And with quarterback Drew Allar back in State College, it looks like 2025 is going to be a good year as well for PSU.

In fact, things are looking so good for Penn State that Franklin is apparently so confident that he’s out here arguing with fans like it’s nothing. (RELATED: Brother Of Rams’ Puka Nacua, Samson, Smacks Everliving Heck Out Of Fan At UFL Game)

The spring game for Penn State came Saturday, but nobody is talking about the actual football. Rather, it’s what happened with the team’s skipper.

Located in an end-zone on the field, Franklin was caught on camera having a heated back-and-forth with a fan. It’s not known how things got started, but from the video, it’s quite evident that Franklin wasn’t a happy camper. Franklin even seemingly asked an assistant to identify the fan and retrieve their name.

You can watch the video of the scene here.

It wasn’t all bad though, Franklin also invited a kid on the field at one point, which I found pretty cool:

But still, you can’t be arguing with fans … you’ve got a national title up for grabs after all.
