Piers Morgan Guest Reprimands Brian McGinnis For Overlooking Iranian Atrocities

In a Monday episode of “Piers Morgan Uncensored,” a heated exchange erupted between guests Brian McGinnis and Goldie Ghamari over U.S. involvement in Iran.

During a panel discussion, McGinnis said U.S. actions risked escalating conflict. He criticized President Donald Trump for backtracking on campaign promises and expressed concern over Iran’s nuclear program. Ghamari fired back, saying the Iranian regime committed atrocities earlier this year, including sexual assaults against women supporting pro-democracy movements and mass killings of protesters.

“There’s so much death, and there’s so much accountability that must be had. I demand accountability,” McGinnis said. “Trump has backstepped on his campaign promises, and he’s throwing us into a war. And I do have concerns about a nuclear threat. And we do have to de-escalate this, and I hope that Trump’s negotiations continue positively.”

Ghamari responded.

“There’s so much craziness that I just heard. I don’t even know where to begin. But where were you when two months ago, in the beginning of January, [when] the Islamic regime slaughtered over 40,000 innocent unarmed protesters just because they wanted to live in a free and democratic society? Where were you?” Ghamari asked.

WATCH:

“Where were you when the Islamic regime gang raped two nurses because they were helping Iranian protesters? They took them. They gang raped them. One of them was gang raped so hard that they had to remove her uterus. Where were you for that? Where were you when on Friday the Islamic regime executed five innocent young Iranian men? Where were you? Nowhere.”

Reports said two nurses were arrested in Iran for helping protesters and were subjected to sexual assault and torture while in detention. Human rights groups documented similar patterns of abuse against medical workers during the government’s crackdown on demonstrations.

A 19-year-old wrestler, Saleh Mohammadi, and two other young men, Mehdi Qasemi and Saeed Davoudi, were hanged in Qom, a central city in Iran south of Tehran, after being convicted of “moharabeh” or waging war against God, for allegedly killing two police officers during protests. The regime accused the men of killing two police officers during the January protests. Their executions mark the first publicly reported deaths among the tens of thousands arrested in the nationwide crackdown.

Ghamari dismissed claims of foreign conspiracies. (RELATED: ‘Feminist’ Activists Link Arms With Ayatollah-Loving Muslims Against Trump’s Iran Strikes)

“So don’t bring your Israeli conspiracy theories here. No one’s buying it. No one cares for it. This is something that the Iranian people have wanted for a very, very long time. It’s called the responsibility to protect. It is a U.N. doctrine,” Ghamari added. “You are insulting the Iranian people’s right to self-determination by claiming that this is some sort of Israeli project. What Iranian people are saying inside of occupied Iran is that we are grateful for American interventionalism.”
