Police Bodycam Footage Shows Shocking Aftermath Of Actor Dylan Walsh’s Car Crash

Police body camera footage captured the aftermath of “Nip/Tuck” actor Dylan Walsh’s car crash and showed him admitting to drinking before driving.

TMZ published footage of the wreckage, where Walsh’s wife lay injured in the street as bystanders rushed to help. Walsh appeared shaken as he spoke with officers and tried to explain the crash. “I was really tired, I was driving and it happened. I don’t know how it happened” Walsh told police.

Walsh told officers he had been drinking earlier in the day after leaving the beach. Body camera video showed police pushing aside deployed airbags to search his vehicle, where they found an open cooler bag that appeared to contain alcohol.

Walsh was placed in an ambulance, where he complied with police requests for a blood test to measure his alcohol level.

His representatives later told TMZ the test showed he was below the legal limit, though law enforcement has not confirmed that result. They also claimed Walsh suffered a sudden stroke that caused him to lose control of the car.

Authorities have not released details on his or his wife’s injuries.
