“Baywatch” alum Alexandra Paul was reportedly arrested March 15 in Blue Mounds, Wisconsin, after allegedly trespassing during an animal rights protest.
Police alleged the 62-year-old actress was among a group of 50 to 60 people who allegedly trespassed onto the Ridglan Farms property at approximately 8:30 a.m., according to reports.
The Dane County Sheriff’s Office issued a statement to People, claiming Paul was one of about 20 individuals to be arrested.
Ridglan Farms is one of two large dog breeding facilities in the U.S. that still use the animals for scientific research, according to WKOW, an ABC affiliate.
It’s unclear if the famous actress was released from police custody.

“Some activists broke into the facility and began removing numerous dogs,” the DCSO stated. Some of the dogs were reportedly recovered, but others have not been found.
Authorities seized two vehicles as well as burglary tools and other evidence as part of their ongoing investigation, according to People.
DCSO Sheriff Kalvin Barrett said the agency “understands how deeply people feel for the beagles at Ridglan Farms, and we respect their right to express that passion through peaceful protests.”

Barrett asserted that the role of the police is to “keep everyone safe and to respond when unlawful activity takes place.”
“We encourage anyone with concerns about animal welfare or research practices to engage through lawful and constructive avenues,” he added.
This is not the first run-in with the law for Paul, who played Stephanie Holden on “Baywatch” from 19921-1997.
She was charged with misdemeanor theft, along with another woman, for allegedly removing two chickens from a Foster Farms truck in September 2021, according to the Los Angeles Times. (RELATED: REPORT: Police Arrest Cher’s Son Elijah Allman Separate Incidences After He Allegedly Broke Into School)
The Fresno Bee reported that she was found not guilty of misdemeanor theft in March 2023.
The outlet previously reported that the actress was also asked to leave the premises when protesting at a Dairy Farm in 2017.
