President Trump Honors Joey Logano, Roger Penske During White House Visit

The greatest sports president of all-time strikes again!

Reigning NASCAR Cup champion Joey Logano was honored by President Donald Trump during his White House visit Wednesday, and not just that, but so were other Team Penske drivers and legendary owner Roger Penske himself.

NASCAR Commissioner Steve Phelps and NASCAR President Steve O’Donnell were also present for the ceremony. (RELATED: Los Angeles Dodgers Officially Visit President Trump At White House After World Series Title)

The 2023 champion of the NASCAR Cup Series and teammate of Logano, Ryan Blaney also visited the White House, and they were also joined by crew chiefs Jonathan Hassler and Paul Wolfe. Also in Washington D.C. representing Team Penske was two-time Indianapolis 500 winner Josef Newgarden, 24 Hours of Daytona winner Laurens Vanthoor, Nick Tandy and Felip Nasr.

“This is just a celebration of racing,” stated President Trump during the ceremony. “It’s a celebration of Roger and his great success and his life and these incredible champions who really do what very few people could do.”

“These are great champions and it’s a great sport. … We love champions and these are the greatest champions in the world. These are the greatest champions in racing and it’s an honor to have you all.”

Writing this reminded me that Bristol is this weekend, and boy oh boy, what a weekend it’s going to be…

I got my popcorn!
