Proposal to give the World Health Organisation powers to enforce lockdowns

The World Health Organisation (WHO) has pushed through some amendments to the International Health Regulations, which critics have warned gives the organisation ‘sweeping new powers’.

The amendments will enable the WHO to establish an international expectation that member states will impose vaccine mandates during any future WHO-declared pandemic emergency.

It will also make it easier to enforce lockdowns and travel restrictions around the world as part of a top-down global response, as well as censor alternative viewpoints from those who question official narratives or raise concerns about government measures.

According to CitizenGo, it will also expand the WHO’s powers to collect and share personal health data, potentially paving the way for digital IDs and global tracking systems.
