Police rushed to the home of actress Garcelle Beauvais after receiving a troubling 911 call about a man with a sawed-off shotgun that reportedly turned out to be a hoax.
The terrifying incident unfolded at Beauvais’ Los Angles home Sunday night when a male called police claiming he was the star’s ex-boyfriend, police sources told TMZ. He reportedly told them he was armed with the gun but when officers showed up the caller would not meet them. Beauvais, a star from “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” and “NYPD Blue,” was home by herself as police searched the property, sources tied to the actress said. Law enforcement officials discovered no evidence of a crime and later alleged the incident was a swatting call.

Law enforcement sources said the call to police suggested a potential assault with a deadly weapon as well as shots fired. The actress was reportedly caught off guard by the police activity at her home and had no idea what was happening as the frightening scene unfolded.
This was the second time Beauvais was swatted at her Los Angeles residence, TMZ reported. The actress was first targeted in the summer of 2025 in a similar incident.

There has been no suspect information released in this case, and it remains unclear why someone is allegedly making false calls to the police regarding the star’s home.
