REPORT: Naked Man Allegedly Goes On Rampage, Attempts To Break Into Florida Home

A 23-year-old man was arrested Tuesday by police after he allegedly attempted to break into a Pinellas Park home while naked on Oct. 7, according to FOX 13.

Joshua Garrison has been charged with armed residential burglary, two counts of residential burglary, criminal mischief, violation of probation (grand theft auto), and violation of probation (fleeing and eluding), Fox 13 reported. The Pinellas Park Police Department said they responded following reports of a naked man attempting to break into multiple homes and causing damage. Police identified Garrison as the suspect and arrested him Tuesday, according to FOX 13.

Tim Reischmann, one of the residents impacted by the alleged burglaries, spoke with WFLA and told the outlet Garrison purportedly grabbed an ax from his shed.

“He went into my shed, grabbed an ax, and came back on my porch. We don’t know why he didn’t use it.”

Reischmann also claims the suspect jumped over a six-foot fence and grabbed a drink.

“We see him grabbing a bottle of beer and a can of soda,” Reischmann explained to WFLA.

Reischmann shared photos of the intruder, taken from what appears to be a security camera, to his personal Facebook page on Oct. 11.

“We have not been informed of any advancement in finding and arresting this dangerous predator. PLEASE SHARE,” Reischmann wrote at the time. “Somebody must know him. Even though we have increased our security, my wife is feeling unsettled [and] jumping at noises,” he said.

Police have not said how many homes were allegedly broken into, according to FOX 13. They arrested Garrison without incident, Tampa Bay 28 News reported.

The Daily Caller contacted the Pinellas Park Police Department and FOX 13 regarding surveillance footage of the alleged burglary, but did not receive a comment from either in time for publication.
