Pamela Anderson and Liam Neeson’s whirlwind romance may have been nothing more than a publicity stunt, according to a new report.
The pair’s much-buzzed-about red carpet flirting and cozy media appearances were part of a plan to hype their upcoming film, “The Naked Gun,” sources told TMZ. The supposed relationship, insiders claimed, was carefully staged to grab attention and sell tickets. TMZ’s sources said the romance was all smoke and mirrors. Anderson and Neeson never spent time together one-on-one after filming wrapped in June 2024, the outlet reported. The pair never dined alone and were only ever seen in group settings with assistants and handlers nearby. Insiders stressed there was nothing genuinely romantic between them.

The faux romance kicked off in early 2025, with the pair drawing headlines for their playful public banter.
Anderson even claimed she was baking muffins and bread for Neeson, a storyline he leaned into during interviews ahead of the film’s premiere.

TMZ reported that the relationship was nothing more than a publicity stunt — one that appears to have worked. “The Naked Gun” pulled in more than $89 million worldwide on a $42 million budget.
Neither Anderson nor Neeson has commented publicly on their rumored romance.
