RFK Breaks His Silence on Shanahan’s Stunning Claims He’s Under Outside Control [WATCH]

Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. responded Thursday to recent claims made by his former running mate, Nicole Shanahan, who suggested that someone other than President Donald Trump may be “controlling his decisions” within the administration, as reported by The Gateway Pundit.

Kennedy addressed the allegations during an interview on Fox News, after Shanahan posted a series of statements on social media criticizing his judgment and expressing regret over her support for his Senate confirmation.

Shanahan’s comments came in response to President Trump’s nomination of Dr. Casey Means as Surgeon General on Wednesday.

“It’s very strange. Doesn’t make any sense,” Shanahan wrote. “I was promised that if I supported RFK Jr. in his Senate confirmation that neither of these siblings would be working under HHS or in an appointment (and that people much more qualified would be).”

In her post, Shanahan suggested that Kennedy’s recent decisions are not being made independently.

“I don’t know if RFK very clearly lied to me, or what is going on. It has been clear in recent conversations that he is reporting to someone regularly who is controlling his decisions (and it isn’t President Trump),” she wrote.

She added that Kennedy’s associates at HHS appeared “artificial and aggressive,” comparing them to “Manchurian assets.”

Kennedy denied the accusations, asserting that he remains focused on the responsibilities entrusted to him by President Trump and guided by a commitment to evidence-based health policy and restoring public trust in federal health institutions.

He stated that decisions at HHS are made based on data and national interest, not outside influence.

Shanahan previously supported Kennedy during the presidential election as his running mate and later as a vocal backer of his nomination as HHS Secretary.

She also publicly threatened to fund primary challenges against senators who opposed his confirmation.

In a separate development earlier this year, political commentator Candace Owens alleged on her podcast that Kennedy may be the target of a blackmail scheme.

Owens claimed the scheme involved journalist Olivia Nuzzi and blogger Jessica Reed Kraus, also known as @houseinhabit on Instagram.

According to Owens, Nuzzi had a “digital affair” with Kennedy in 2024 and was allegedly sending explicit photos while engaged to another individual.

Kraus, a known supporter of Ghislaine Maxwell, has reportedly maintained proximity to the White House due to her personal ties with Kennedy.

Kennedy has not publicly addressed the blackmail allegations in detail. The White House has not issued an official statement regarding either Shanahan’s or Owens’ claims.
