Hey, it’s Ric Flair! He can say whatever the hell he wants!
The first full Saturday of the 2025 college football season has been a glorious one. For me, it’s been watching hours and hours and hours (and hours) of pigskin, writing a few blogs for you guys and looking at some hurricane models on the side. Oh yes, that’s fun as all get out for me.
As far as the football is concerned, one of the biggest things that I’ve enjoyed is the SEC completely losing the narrative that they’re the best conference and blah, blah, blah. And as far as that conversation is concerned, things got even better when legendary wrestler Ric Flair entered the chat. (RELATED: Iowa State Kicker Kyle Konrardy Makes History With 63-Yard Bomb)
The SEC suffered two major upsets Saturday: 1. Texas getting dropped by Ohio State, and 2. Florida State pulling off a massive upset over Alabama. Before the games started, there was all this hoopla about how dominant the SEC is, and anybody who crosses their path will get destroyed. One of the biggest culprits touting this nonsense was ESPN blowhard and SEC hack Paul Finebaum.
Well, following Ohio State’s win over Texas, Flair made it quite clear where he stands on Finebaum and his SEC bias, going on a doozy of a rant on social media.
Check it out:
Dear Mr. @finebaum, As Usual, You Are The Most Absurd & Incompetent Analyst In All Of College Football. I’ll Take Heather Dinich @CFBHeather Any Day Over You. You Should Be Expelled From @ESPN. Every Time I See You On The TV, I Turn It Off. You Have 22,000 Followers. I Have 9.3… pic.twitter.com/ggUWEVpjJr

I hope Ric saved some of that energy for the West Coast games, because hot damn!
