Jessica Valenti is a New York native, mother, and author who obsesses about making sure women can kill their unborn children without shame.
Valenti writes a popular Substack newsletter, ranked #8 overall among cultural newsletters as of late December, and recently released a book, “Abortion.” Her appeal isn’t surprising considering that women have been brainwashed into believing that the only thing they should care about is whether or not they can murder their children. But what did shock me as I doomscrolled my “For You” page on Substack is the fact that she used Christmas to promote this demonic ideology.
Christmas is not a secular holiday, no matter what the mainstream entertainment and press would like you to believe. It’s one of Christianity’s holiest of holidays because it celebrates the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ. It’s the one day humanity has to stop and reflect on the sanctity of human life and the reality of the sacrifice our Blessed Mother Mary made to bring Him into this world. Still, Valenti took an Advent wreath and created a Christmas card for her followers. Not to celebrate birth but as a call to end it worldwide.
“Abortion, Every Day,” she wrote inside the wreath, adding, “Thank you for being part of this community, and for caring about abortion rights–every day. Have a wonderful holiday season.”
The Advent wreath is a Christian symbol for eternal life and preparation for Christ, who is the Light of the World. Its circular shape and evergreen branches represent unending love and new life. Typically, there are four candles inside (three purple and one pink), lit progressively to count down the four weeks of Advent, culminating in the joyous birth of our Savior.
It’s not just ironic that she would use an Advent wreath representing life to promote death. It’s a demonic and crooked bastardization of a holy symbol.
They used to tell us that having an abortion was the hardest choice a woman had to make. That if someone chose to end the life of their child, it had to be because of a life-or-death situation, and that no woman went into making this decision lightly. Most fell for this PR campaign only to find out that the reality was much, much darker. Most abortions in America are elective, and even more disturbing is the statistic that 1 in every 3 (28 percent) Gen Z children die from abortion. Our society has become desensitized to death. We parade it as normal and excuse it away as a necessary consequence of so-called women’s rights. Every day the Valentis of the world go unchecked, we lose more and more of our humanity.
