Secret Service Officers Suspended After Fistfight Outside His D.C. Home [WATCH]

Two U.S. Secret Service Uniformed Division officers have been suspended following a physical altercation outside former President Barack Obama’s Washington, D.C., residence last week.

The incident occurred during the early morning hours of May 21 and was captured on video and audio, which surfaced publicly on Tuesday.

The footage, first released by RealClearPolitics journalist Susan Crabtree on the social media platform X, shows the two female agents engaged in a physical confrontation that included shoving and punching.

One of the officers can be heard on her radio stating, “I need a supervisor out here… immediately before I whoop this girl’s ass.”

Crabtree reported that the altercation took place at approximately 2:30 a.m. outside Obama’s Kalorama neighborhood home, located about two miles northwest of the White House.

The incident drew immediate attention, given the high-profile location and the involvement of active-duty federal officers.

In a statement to The New York Post, a spokesperson for the Secret Service confirmed the incident and stated that the agency has taken disciplinary action.

“The U.S. Secret Service is aware of an on-duty altercation that occurred between two Uniformed Division officers at approximately 2:30 a.m. on May 21,” the spokesperson said.

“The individuals involved were suspended from duty and this matter is the subject of an internal investigation.”

The spokesperson added that the Secret Service maintains “a very strict code of conduct for all employees and any behavior that violates that code is unacceptable.”

The agency declined to provide further comment, citing the ongoing internal investigation and the personnel-related nature of the case.

The incident marks the latest in a string of troubling reports involving members of the Secret Service’s Uniformed Division.

In April 2024, an officer assigned to then-Vice President Kamala Harris was removed from duty following a reported outburst while on assignment.

According to multiple accounts, the officer—identified as Michelle Herczeg—began shouting at colleagues and allegedly threw sanitary products at them.

After being relieved from duty, she reportedly attacked a supervisor.

The Secret Service, tasked with protecting current and former U.S. presidents and vice presidents, has faced scrutiny over various conduct-related incidents in recent years.

Internal investigations and disciplinary reviews have followed a number of high-profile cases, and the agency has repeatedly emphasized its zero-tolerance policy for misconduct.
