Sen. Cory Booker’s Attempt To Dunk On MAGA Not A Great Look For Democrats

Democratic New Jersey Sen. Cory Booker’s attempt to virtue signal on behalf of illegal immigrants is not the slam dunk he thinks it is.

Booker, most famous for fumbling actress Rosario Dawson and his recent 25-hour anti-Trump filibuster, re-posted a video of what we can safely assume are illegal migrant workers picking asparagus. He captioned the video with a poetic, haiku-esque message to America’s crop pickers: “The hands that feed us. We see you. We will fight to protect you.” (Subscribe to MR. RIGHT, a free weekly newsletter about modern masculinity)

What is Booker really saying here? That Democrats are the party who champions cheap, serf labor, instead of the party that supports higher wages for American workers? Do Democrats think it’s a good thing that illegal migrants work long hours for slave wages and have no legal recourse for labor violations?

Hunter Biden expressed a similar sentiment during a lengthy, unhinged, and profanity-laced interview Monday.

“People are really upset about illegal immigration? Fuck you. How do you think your hotel room gets cleaned? How do you think you have food on your fucking table? Who do you think washes your dishes?” he said.

Unlike Booker, however, the former first son went further. A Democratic president shouldn’t just protect illegal workers: he should invade sovereign countries on their behalf.

“How are we getting those people back from fucking El Salvador? Because I’ll tell you what, if I became president in two years from now — or four years from now, or three years from now — I would pick up the phone and call the fucking president of El Salvador and say, ‘You either fucking send them back or I’m going to fucking invade.’ It’s a fucking crime what they’re doing,” Hunter said.

Maybe Democrats and liberals champion illegal workers less as a humanitarian cause and more for their wealthy donors, who pay them pennies on the dollar to cut their grass and clean their homes.
