Sharon Osbourne broke down in tears after playing back a message from President Donald Trump following Ozzy Osbourne’s death.
Sharon, who worked with Trump on the “Celebrity Apprentice” in 2010, shared the voice message on an emotional episode of their family’s “The Osbournes” podcast honoring Ozzy’s life and legacy. “Hi, Sharon. It’s Donald Trump, and I just wanted to wish you the best and the family,” the president said. The recording continued, “Ozzy was amazing. He was an amazing guy.”
Sharon was visibly moved by Trump’s support, and credited him for reaching out while she mourned the loss of her husband of 43 years.
Trump’s message continued, “I met him a few times and I wanna tell you he was unique in every way and talented. So I just wanted to wish you the best and it’s a tough thing, I know how close you were, and whatever I can do.”
“Take care of yourself, say hello to the family. Thanks, bye,” he said.
Sharon reminded fans that political perspectives take a back seat in times of grief.
“Listen, when it comes to politics, we know nobody comes out a winner. Whoever you like, there’s, half of people are gonna go like this,” she said, gesturing and demonstrating two opposing sides.

“And now it’s more so than ever in history is it that people’s choice of which party, which politician, you can’t come out a winner. All I know is a man that I know, I worked with for a month. I spent one month with him and his wife [Melania Trump], who was always gracious, elegant, just a delight to talk to, his wife,” she said.
Sharon recalled Trump’s genuine, caring personality.
“And he was always, ‘How are the children? How is Kelly? I’m so proud of Kelly and Jack for what they’ve done and their manners are great. And he was just a great guy to talk to and he has always treated me with respect,” she said.

Sharon reiterated that Trump had always extended kindness to her and the entire Osbourne family.
“The thing is all I know is he has treated me with respect, your father with respect. He wanted nothing from us. Nothing. Melania, the same, nothing. And they have been great. And for him to take his time to do that for us,” Sharon said on the podcast. (RELATED: Actress Frances Barber Walks Back Her Criticism Of Donald Trump After Work On Israel-Hamas Situation)
Jack Osbourne chimed in to speak of Trump by saying, “Love him or hate him, he didn’t have to call and leave a voicemail.”
