Just miles away from the shooting, Naz Reid was born in Asbury Park. In his high school career, he played for Roselle, going on to suit up for LSU in college. Taking to Instagram Stories, Reid published two pictures of him and his sister in their younger days.
Speaking in a 2023 interview with Mpls.St.Paul Magazine, Reid talked about his sisters Toraya and Jakahya. He branded Toraya, his older sister who is now passed away, as “super protective.”
“She treats us like she’s our parent,” said Reid.
