The Spanish Ministry of Defence has announced that its advanced frigate the Cristóbal Colón will sail to Cyprus to defend the island. It is set to get there at roughly the same time HMS Dragon leaves port in Britain…
The frigate is currently sailing with the French aircraft carrier the Charles de Gaulle for training tasks in the Baltic Sea. Along with the French and some Greek vessels it will now head to the eastern Mediterranean, reaching Crete on March 10. Meanwhile the Dragon is still undergoing pre-launch maintenance until that point…
