Sportswriter calls Riley Gaines a ‘bad person’ for the way she accepted Biles’ sudden apology

A woke sports writer is big mad over the way Riley Gaines has chosen to accept Simone Biles’ apology.

The two female athletes got into a public war of words when Biles, an Olympic gymnast, came out in favor of biological males competing in women’s sports.

Gaines has been an outspoken activist and crusader for fairness in women’s athletics after she was forced to compete with a male. Biles did not have to compete against a male as she was able to win in her chosen sport. Her defense of trans players stealing medals from biological females sparked a furious backlash, including from Gaines.

After Biles launched a body-shaming insult at Gaines, a well-scripted post walking back her pro-trans stance emerged.

Many didn’t buy it, but Gaines, for her part, took the high road and “accepted” Biles’ apology.

Enter Dan Walken, sportswriter for USA Today, who took issue with Gaines discussing the squashed beef with Biles on Fox News. A big no-no, apparently.

“If you apologize and try to be civil with bad people who have no intention of being civil, you will get burned,” Walken said of the clip above.

Walken drew plenty of support for his take, but he also received backlash from those who want to protect women’s sports.

What about erasing women from winning in sports??? It’s literally happening.
