Squirrel Given Its Own Baseball Card — Yes, A Squirrel

Remember the squirrel that ran onto the field Friday at Yankee Stadium when the pinstripes were playing the Boston Red Sox?

Well, get this: He’s got his own baseball card now. I kid you not.

And you can thank the iconic Topps brand for it, who are selling the card on their official website for $8.99, though right now they’re sold out. I tried to get one myself for my girls, who have become pretty big baseball fans this summer, thank God!

For kicks and giggles, I asked Grok how much she thinks this card could potentially be worth one day … here’s what she said:

“The Squirrel – 2025 MLB Topps NOW® Card 596’s future value hinges on its novelty and rarity. The base card is likely to remain a low-cost collectible ($15-$100 long-term). Its value will depend on whether the squirrel becomes a lasting meme or fades into obscurity.”

Pretty much what you would expect with just some random squirrel.
