Starmer Faces Backlash for ‘Lives Lost’ 7/7 Statement
Eyebrows are raised this morning at Starmer’s statement released for the 20th anniversary of the 7/7 bombings carried out by four islamist terrorists.
Twenty years on from the 7/7 attacks, we remember all those whose lives were lost and those whose lives were changed forever.
We honour the bravery of the first responders, and the strength of the survivors.

Starmer’s statement says the country will “unite to remember the lives lost” in the attacks and gives no specific mention to the perpetrators. The victims’ lives were taken.
