Starmer refused to rule out a pensions tax, saying:
“I’m we made absolutely clear manifesto commitments which she asked me about last week and we are keeping I’m not going to write the budget months out.”
As it stands, someone’s private pension contributions are tax-free up to £60,000 a year. Expect changes to this to crop up in the budget…
