A new stunt aimed at associating President Donald Trump with late-convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein appeared on the National Mall, “In Honor of Friendship Month.”
Since the chief executive’s return to the White House, efforts by leftists have stood as further proof that actual justice takes a backseat to scoring political points. As many have pigeonholed their concern about the conductor of the “Lolita Express” to alleged ties to Trump, the latest bid to further the claims came in statuary form, not far from the White House.
Seen with the U.S. Capitol in the backdrop, the shining bronze images of the GOP leader and financier in the statue titled “Best Friends Forever” could be seen holding hands, each with a foot kicked back as though they were giddy, above plaques quoting from the 2003 50th birthday message to Epstein alleged to have been penned by Trump that prompted a multi-billion dollar lawsuit against the Wall Street Journal.

Another plaque between the figures read, “In Honor of Friendship Month … We celebrate the long-lasting bond between President Donald J. Trump and his ‘closest friend,’ Jeffrey Epstein. Voice Over: There Must Be More To Life Than Having Everything.”
According to a report from the Washington Post, the National Park Service issued a permit for the statue to remain on the Mall until Sunday evening with a stated purpose “to demonstrate freedom of speech and artistic expression using political imagery.”
Despite the suit, which included Rupert Murdoch, News Corp, CEO Robert Thomson, publisher Dow Jones & Co. and the reporters responsible, the Journal published the image at the top of another story earlier in September that detailed attorney’s for Epstein’s estate had handed over the birthday book the missive was said to have come from to Congress after a subpoena for documents.
“This case calls out for dismissal,” contended the newspaper on Monday as it sought the dismissal of Trump’s lawsuit against them.”In an affront to the First Amendment, the President of the United States brought this lawsuit to silence a newspaper for publishing speech that was subsequently proven true by documents released by Congress to the American public.”
Countering the claim, White House Deputy Press Secretary Abigail Jackson issued a statement to multiple media outlets arguing, “Liberals are free to waste their money however they see fit — but it’s not news that Epstein knew Donald Trump, because Donald Trump kicked Epstein out of his club for being a creep.”
“Democrats, the media, and the organization that’s wasting their money on this statue knew about Epstein and his victims for years and did nothing to help them while President Trump was calling for transparency, and is now delivering on it with thousands of pages of documents,” added Jackson.
To her point, earlier Tuesday, as Jimmy Kimmel issued a non-apology for his remarks in the wake of Charlie Kirk’s assassination that led to his brief suspension, the late-night host claimed Trump, “did his best to cancel me. Instead, he forced millions of people to watch the show. That backfired bigly. He might have to release the Epstein files to distract us from this now.”
