Surveillance Video Shows Dallas ICE Agents Protecting Detainees During Fatal Shooting [WATCH]

Newly released surveillance video shows Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents taking cover and assisting detainees as a gunman opened fire on a federal facility in Dallas, as reported by The Gateway Pundit.

The shooting, which federal investigators described as an act of targeted violence, left two people dead and another critically injured.

The FBI confirmed that 29-year-old Joshua Jahn fired at the ICE field office on Wednesday from a rooftop near the building. Jahn later died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Officials said no ICE agents were injured in the attack.

The violence claimed the life of one detainee inside the facility, while another detainee remains hospitalized in critical condition. The incident has added to growing security concerns as ICE facilities and personnel continue to face threats nationwide.

Video obtained by Fox News shows agents ducking for cover as gunfire rained down. Despite the barrage of bullets, agents can be seen helping detainees to safety.

“Officials say they hope people will see that the agents were heroic, clearly willing to risk their lives to save the detainees, rather than focus on dangerous anti-ICE rhetoric,” Fox News correspondent Brooke Taylor reported.

Taylor added that agents at the Dallas field office expressed frustration about how they are portrayed in the public arena.

“I’ve spoken with sources who are agents at the field office and they say they’re upset, devastated, and frustrated that the public can’t see they are just doing their jobs and protecting the community,” she said.

Law enforcement officials are continuing to investigate Jahn’s motive in the attack. The shooting comes as ICE has faced repeated protests, vandalism, and threats at facilities across the country. In some cases, demonstrators have clashed with agents and called for violence against them.

The FBI has not announced additional details about Jahn’s background or whether he was connected to any organized groups. Authorities confirmed that enhanced security measures remain in place at ICE facilities nationwide following the Dallas shooting.

The Dallas field office remains operational, though officials said they are reviewing security protocols to protect agents, staff, and detainees. The investigation is ongoing.
