Sydney Sweeney and Amanda Seyfried Attend Premiere of New Thriller ‘The Housemaid’ in LA

Sydney Sweeney and Amanda Seyfried appeared on the red carpet Tuesday evening for the premiere of their new film, “The Housemaid,” joined by co-stars and the film’s director ahead of the movie’s release, as reported by TMZ.

The event took place as the cast promoted the psychological thriller, which follows the story of an ex-convict who begins working for a wealthy family.

Sweeney wore a sequin gown with a corset top and a plunging neckline, while Seyfried arrived in a soft pink dress with ruching down the front.

Both actresses wore their hair down, with Sweeney opting for curls and Seyfried choosing soft waves.

They were joined by cast members Brandon Sklenar and Michele Morrone, along with director Paul Feig. The film centers on Sweeney’s character, Millie, who uncovers disturbing secrets after being hired as a housemaid for an affluent household.

The project marks Sweeney’s latest leading role following the release of “Christy,” a biographical drama that opened to widespread criticism and underperformed at the box office. Sweeney previously shrugged off the reaction to that film.

“The Housemaid” adds to both actresses’ recent work in psychological thrillers and drama-focused roles, and the cast has made several promotional appearances ahead of the movie’s rollout.

The premiere drew attention to the film’s themes and cast lineup as the production approaches its official release.
