Tennessee Authorities Arrest Two In Quadruple Murder With Main Suspect Still At Large

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) has arrested two men in connection to a quadruple homicide that rocked Lake County earlier this week, according to a series of press releases issued by the agency. The primary suspect remains on the run.

Authorities are searching for 28-year-old Austin Drummond, accused of fatally shooting 21-year-old Matthew Wilson, 20-year-old Adrianna Williams, 38-year-old Cortney Rose and 15-year-old Braydon Williams on Tuesday in Tiptonville. All four victims were reportedly related to an infant who was later found abandoned in the area, according to local media reports. In a press release Friday, the TBI said it arrested 29-year-old Tanaka Brown of Jackson and charged him with accessory after the fact to first-degree murder. Brown is also charged with tampering with evidence, the agency confirmed in an updated statement. He is being held at the Lake County Jail without bond.

On Saturday, the TBI announced it had arrested another Jackson man, 29-year-old Giovante Thomas, on the same accessory charge. Thomas was already being held at the Madison County Jail on an unrelated charge of failure to appear. He will be transferred to Lake County to face the new charges.

The TBI did not detail how either man allegedly assisted Drummond but warned that the fugitive should be considered armed and dangerous.

Anyone with information on Drummond’s whereabouts is asked to call 731-415-7962, 731-333-0811, or 1-800-TBI-FIND.
