The National Audit Office now says up to 27,278 Afghans could be brought to Britain after the leak, nearly 4,000 more than first expected. Labour has been spinning that resettling 7,355 people through the secret Afghan Response Route would cost £850 million. At £128,000 per resettled individual, bringing 27,278 Afghans to the UK would cost the government roughly £3.49 billion. Talk about a black hole…
