According to reports, an airline employee noticed that the women had not paid for a second carry-on bag and asked them to step out of the boarding line to pay the required fee.

The women refused to comply, and the situation escalated into a verbal confrontation. The employee warned that they would be removed from the flight if they did not pay for the additional luggage, but authorities said the group ignored those instructions.
According to the arrest report, Dockery told the other two women to disregard the employee’s warning, and the group proceeded onto the plane through a restricted boarding area.
Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to the scene, and a Frontier Airlines manager requested that the three women be removed from the aircraft after their boarding passes had been canceled.
Law enforcement officers instructed the women multiple times to exit the plane. Authorities said the trio refused to comply despite repeated warnings and were advised that failure to leave could result in arrest.
Passengers were eventually cleared from the aircraft as the situation unfolded. The women began exiting the plane, but the confrontation continued. Dockery allegedly spat on another individual during the incident, according to the report.
Deputies then attempted to place the women under arrest and ordered them to put their hands behind their backs. Authorities said the women refused, leading to a physical struggle before they were taken into custody.
Video posted to social media by @OnlyInDade shows the three women being escorted out of the airport in handcuffs while surrounded by onlookers recording the scene. In the footage, Davana Cochran can be seen dancing next to an officer as they are led out.
The video also captured a verbal exchange between the women and other passengers. Davana Cochran can be heard yelling, “I will beat you the f–k up,” while another passenger responds, “Enjoy prison, baby.”
Following their arrest, all three women were transported to Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center. The Frontier Airlines flight to Philadelphia was delayed approximately one hour as a result of the incident.
The Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
The situation highlights how a dispute over airline baggage policies escalated into a law enforcement response that disrupted airport operations and delayed a scheduled commercial flight.
