Tiger Woods Connected To Rollover Crash In Florida, Officials Say

According to the Martin County Sheriff’s Office, Tiger Woods was a part of a rollover crash that took place Friday in Jupiter Island, Florida.

The sheriff’s office did not immediately release any details regarding the cause of the crash nor the condition of Woods. The crash is being investigated by police, with a county sheriff set to talk with the media at 5:00 p.m. local time, per ESPN(RELATED: Carlos Alcaraz Gets Hammered By Fans After Buying Luxury Yacht)

The crash happened right after 2:00 p.m., taking place in the town that Woods resides in. A photograph from the crash shows the vehicle flipped on the driver’s side.

After he ruptured his Achilles tendon in Mar. 2025, eventually undergoing back surgery a few months later in October, Woods has been building on a comeback to professional golf. He was in competition for the first time in over a year Tuesday during the TGL finals. There, his Jupiter Links GC was defeated by the Los Angeles Golf Club.

Woods suffered critical leg injuries in Feb. 2021 after being involved in a one-vehicle crash that took place in Southern California, with the car rolling multiple times and leaving him trapped inside. Later, he would undergo surgery for lower right leg “open fractures,”  ultimately having a rod put into a tibia. Pins and screws were also placed in his ankle and foot in emergency surgery.

In Apr. 2023, Woods would undergo another surgery that was connected to crash injuries.
