There’s a common saying that liberalism is a mental disorder and Hope Walz, the 24-year-old daughter of Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz (D), is doing her part to prove the theory correct.
Hope worked herself into a lather over TikTok influencer Kate Mackz — who’s known for interviewing subjects while running — visiting with White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt at the Executive Mansion.
“Running as an act is political. And you know who taught me that? Tim Walz,” she said. “The first thing he told me when I was first getting into it in high school was that running is a privilege. Whether you do it recreationally, race competitively, or participate at an elite level, it is a privilege. You need time. You need the right gear. You need a healthy mental state. You need a safe, stable environment. And not everyone has that.”
Tim Walz’s daughter is fuming on TikTok right now because running TikTok influencer Kate Mackz … *checks notes* … visited the White House.
Hope Walz says “running is political,” because only privileged people are able to run, and it’s horrible that Mackz visited with the… pic.twitter.com/qQhKpZjmnp

What’s more, the liberal heroine insists that opposition to climate change and deporting criminal aliens in the country illegally prevent people from running.
“[The Trump admin] is preventing people from getting into the running community, which is what I thought Kate’s platform was for… We should not be normalizing these people,” Hope said. “We are quite literally talking about good versus evil here, and I’m just really disappointed the whole thing happened.”
Wow, talk about ridiculous.
Here’s a quick sampling of the responses to the story, as seen on the social media platform X:
Parents are either a good or a bad influence on their children.
Too bad she never had a chance.

Is she seriously saying that it’s a privilege to be able to run down the road? This family is batshit insane.

Has she ever watched the Olympics?
I wonder if she would say the same to the Ethiopians who dominate the marathon circuit.

So just to make sure I got this, running is:
1. A privilege
2. Causing climate change
3. Ruining societyI’m about to head out for a run right now, so just want to make sure I accomplish everything.

Pseudo-intellectualism is a real problem in our society. We’ve given just about everyone access to unlimited information and a podium at the largest public forum humanity has ever constructed. This is allowing even society’s dumbest people to back into arguments which conform…

So, if I’m understanding this correctly… she’s insinuating that minorities and women are incapable of running?
It’s no wonder that Sanders kid didn’t get drafted in the first round!
