Talk about a “shocking” experience.
In Kentucky, Emmalena Middle School and Carr Creek Middle School played Friday night in the A-Team Championships that took place at Knott County Central High School. Carr Creek had an 18-point advantage in the third quarter and appeared poised to close out the title win with just one quarter remaining.
Then everything went sideways. (RELATED: Liberal Reporter Fails Miserably At Another Attempt Of Ruining Australian Open With Anti-American Questioning)
Two players collided at half-court and body-slammed one another in an all-out professional wrestling moment, sparking an immediate pile-up that drew in coaches, parents, and a lone security guard trying to restore order. As expected, the scuffle got the adults active, leaving the noticeably shorter security guard seemingly feeling like he was under threat.
All of this unfolded live on a broadcast being streamed by two commentators covering the game. (Wait, they were streaming middle school basketball?) As the chaos played out in front of them, the guard deployed his Taser on a parent, who collapsed straight to the court. And from where I’m looking, into another dimension.
With an unmistakable thick Southern drawl, one of the commentators calmly announced, almost matter-of-factly, “They just tased Ryan” and “This game is over.”

Imagine going to your kid’s game just to get tased at the end of the night … yikes.
