Tish James Reportedly Houses OnlyFans Family Member With Criminal Record At Virginia Home

Democratic New York Attorney General Letitia James’ Virginia house involved in a federal fraud probe houses a relative who is an OnlyFans creator with a criminal record, plus another who is a fugitive from North Carolina police, The New York Post (NYP) reported.

Cayla Thompson-Hairston, 21, was charged in April 2024 with trying to buy a gun despite a criminal record, according to the NYP. A Department of Justice (DOJ) probe found that James allegedly secured a loan without actually living there, though it has only indicted her over a loan on another home in Norfolk, the NYP reported.

Cayla’s sister and James’ grand-niece, Nakia Monique Thompson, lives at the Norfolk home at the center of the DOJ’s indictment. (RELATED: Criminal Fugitive With Mile-Long Rap Sheet Lived At Tish James’ House For Years, Records Show)

James’ office did not respond to a request for comment from the DCNF. The DCNF could not reach Thompson-Hairston. The DOJ also declined to comment.

Nakia Thompson violated her post-trial release conditions in North Carolina and is wanted there, but presently lives in James’ home after racking up several charges in Virginia, the Daily Caller News Foundation previously reported. One of the charges, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, alleges Thompson brought teenage Cayla Thompson-Hairston with her on a stealing spree in 2019 while living in Portsmouth, the NYP reported. Nakia Thompson pleaded guilty to larceny months later, court records show.

Thompson-Hairston’s later charge of attempting to illegally buy a firearm was dropped because her disqualifying felony charge was pleaded down to a misdemeanor, the NYP reported.

The attorney general pays for her family members to remain in the home but does not live there, neighbors told the NYP, despite her attesting that it was a second home.
