TMZ obtained surveillance footage showing Tyler Robinson walking toward Utah Valley University hours before he allegedly shot and killed Charlie Kirk on Wednesday.
The video captures Robinson at 8:07 a.m. strolling through an Orem residential neighborhood near the university grounds. He wore a maroon shirt, black cap, light-colored shorts and sneakers, the same outfit authorities say he had on that morning before changing into black clothing for the alleged attack.
Robinson appears calm in the footage, walking casually along what would become his route to campus later that day. TMZ also secured video of a man matching Robinson’s description taking the identical path just before noon, this time dressed in all black, minutes before the FBI says he entered the university.

“He’s walking the same path in both clips,” the outlet reported, suggesting Robinson rehearsed his movements earlier that morning. (RELATED: New Footage Of Alleged Charlie Kirk Assassin Released At Thursday Press Conference)
Authorities say Robinson arrived at campus in a grey Dodge Challenger around 8:30 a.m., roughly 23 minutes after the first surveillance video captured him in the neighborhood. The FBI has only released images of Robinson in the black clothing he allegedly wore during the shooting, making this footage the first public view of him in his earlier outfit that day.
Kirk was struck by a single shot at 12:23 p.m. local time Wednesday. The gunman fled the scene immediately.
Law enforcement arrested Robinson late Thursday night following an intensive manhunt. He remains in a Utah jail without bail on charges of aggravated murder, felony discharge of a firearm and obstruction of justice, the outlet reported. Prosecutors have not formally filed charges.
The 22-year-old suspect allegedly confessed to a family member after the shooting.
