Exc: Tories and Reform Join Forces to Table Early Day Motion Against Chagos Deal In First Joint Parliamentary Action
The Tories and Reform have just tabled an Early Day Motion against Starmer’s Chagos surrender deal. Both Kemi Badenoch and Nigel Farage are sponsors of the motion. It reads:
“That the Agreement, done at London and Port Louis on 22 May 2025, between the Government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and the Government of the Republic of Mauritius concerning the Chagos Archipelago including Diego Garcia, should not be ratified.”
Reform deputy leader Richard Tice and Tory shadow ministers Priti Patel and James Cartlidge have also sponsored the EDM. The motion has 82 supporters so far…
