Well sourced rumours swirl – as Guido pointed out yesterday – of an incoming salvo on Kemi Badenoch in the Sunday papers tomorrow. It’s unlikely any MPs will publicly call for her to go by name, but a number of SW1 chin-waggers suggest discontent may come to the surface in various briefings…

It remains to be seen whether any such stories would have much of an effect (it’s unlikely). As Guido related, the politics of the whole thing is already out in the open…
