Tories reveal the McSweeney Files

The Tories have released documents that place the spotlight back on Sir Keir Starmer’s chief of staff Morgan McSweeney, with an email to the Labour Together founder containing legal advice from Labour lawyer Gerald Shamash – now a member of the House of Lords – including marking £700,000 of undisclosed donations as an ‘admin error’…

Tory Party Chairman Kevin Hollinrake has written to the Electoral Commission and the Parliamentary Standards Commissioner to call for investigations into the matter, especially seeing as Labour Together funding was used to help install Starmer as Labour leader.

The Electoral Commission is reviewing the Conservative Party’s calls. Could this just be the lastest of Starmer’s top No.10 team to fall?
