President Donald Trump stated on Monday that he may not be “Heaven-bound” despite making lives better for many people in the Middle East.
Trump said in August that ending the Russia-Ukraine war could get him into Heaven. The president told Fox News’ Peter Doocy on Air Force One that he will probably not make it to heaven despite getting all of the Israeli hostages released who were held captive by Hamas.
“I mean, you know, I’m being a little cute. I don’t think there’s anything [that’s] going to get me in Heaven, okay?” Trump said. “I really don’t. I think I’m not maybe Heaven-bound. I may be in heaven right now as we fly Air Force One. I’m not sure I’m going to be able to make heaven, but I’ve made life a lot better for a lot of people.”

Trump traveled to Israel on Monday to celebrate the first phase of his peace agreement to end the Israel-Hamas war and ensure that both sides are following the terms of the deal. The first phase of the deal required the release of all the hostages, both living and dead, and for the withdrawal of Israeli troops to a designated line.
All 20 of the living hostages were released from Hamas captivity and returned to their families on Monday morning. During his speech in front of the Knesset, Trump hailed the “new dawn of the Middle East” and stated that a “beautiful and much brighter future appears suddenly within [Israel’s] reach.”
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu described Trump as the “greatest friend” Israel has ever had in his own speech before the Knesset.
Trump arrived in Egypt for a summit on Gaza, where world leaders will discuss the future of the territory and how to maintain peace.
