Trump Calls for Adam Schiff to be Prosecuted, Drops Smoking Gun Receipt [WATCH]

President Donald Trump on Sunday called for the prosecution of Sen. Adam Schiff (D-CA), citing allegations of mortgage occupancy fraud involving properties in both Maryland and California.

The statement came as Trump posted supporting documentation on Truth Social, including a signed affidavit from Schiff that has raised questions about potential inconsistencies in his declared primary residence.

“Adam Schiff is a THIEF! He should be prosecuted, just like they tried to prosecute me, and everyone else — The only difference is, WE WERE TOTALLY INNOCENT, IT WAS ALL A GIANT HOAX!” Trump wrote in his post.

Trump included a screenshot of what he described as a signed and notarized affidavit from Schiff, in which the California senator declared that a property in Potomac, Maryland, was his “principal residence.”

At the same time, Schiff reportedly claimed a condominium in Burbank, California, as his “primary residence,” a designation often used for tax and mortgage purposes.

According to legal analysts, declaring two separate properties in different states as a primary or principal residence can constitute mortgage occupancy fraud if used to obtain more favorable loan terms.

Lenders typically offer lower interest rates for owner-occupied homes compared to investment or secondary properties.

The allegations against Schiff were detailed in a segment last Tuesday on The Ingraham Angle on Fox News.

Host Laura Ingraham reported that her team had obtained a criminal referral submitted to the Department of Justice.

The referral was filed by Housing Director Bill Pulte, a public figure known for advocating transparency and reform in federal housing programs.

“The referral, submitted to the DOJ by Housing Director Bill Pulte, alleges that Schiff has, in multiple instances, falsified bank documents and property records to acquire more favorable loan terms—impacting payments from 2003 to 2019 for a Potomac, Maryland-based property,” Ingraham stated on air.

“Schiff owns a home in California and another in Maryland.”

The period cited in the referral spans 16 years, during which Schiff is alleged to have claimed occupancy of the Maryland residence for the purposes of mortgage documentation while continuing to list his California condo as a primary dwelling in other official contexts.

President Trump’s public call for accountability comes amid renewed scrutiny of Democrat lawmakers’ financial dealings.

The president has been critical of what he views as a double standard in the application of justice, particularly in light of ongoing legal cases brought against him and his allies.

The Department of Justice has not confirmed whether it will open a formal investigation into the referral or examine the documentation presented on Truth Social.
