Trump calls for ‘major investigation’ into Springsteen, Beyonce, Oprah for ‘corrupt, unlawful’ contributions to Kamala

Former Vice President Kamala Harris’ celebrity endorsements “under the guise of paying for entertainment” had the president calling for a “major investigation.”

“… this was just a CORRUPT & UNLAWFUL way to capitalize on a broken system.”

As President Donald Trump returned to the White House following the first overseas trip of his second term, self-righteous entertainers felt the scorn of his social media presence. After calling out the likes of Bruce Springsteen and Taylor Swift, the president revisited the questionable actions of his 2024 rival’s campaign, alleging that laws were broken to boost favor for Harris.

“HOW MUCH DID KAMALA HARRIS PAY BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN FOR HIS POOR PERFORMANCE DURING HER CAMPAIGN FOR PRESIDENT? WHY DID HE ACCEPT THAT MONEY IF HE IS SUCH A FAN OF HERS? ISN’T THAT A MAJOR AND ILLEGAL CAMPAIGN CONTRIBUTION? WHAT ABOUT BEYONCÉ? …AND HOW MUCH WENT TO OPRAH, AND BONO???” posited Trump on Truth Social in his trademark all-caps fashion.

“I’m going to call for a major investigation into this matter. Candidates aren’t allowed to pay for ENDORSEMENTS, which is what Kamala did, under the guise of paying for entertainment,” he added. “In addition, this was a very expensive and desperate effort to artificially build up her sparse crowds. IT’S NOT LEGAL! For these unpatriotic ‘entertainers,’ this was just a CORRUPT & UNLAWFUL way to capitalize on a broken system.”

The overnight post was followed Monday morning with the president calling out the $11 million that Beyoncé was reportedly paid to join Harris on stage without giving a performance, “NOT EVEN ONE SONG!”

Trump went on to suggest that, in addition to the celebrities called out, “PERHAPS, MANY OTHERS, HAVE A LOT OF EXPLAINING TO DO!!!”

Along with allegations that Beyoncé scored more than $10 million, while Oprah and Cardi B also raked in large sums, a contention denied by Harris’ campaign, the list of celebrities who’d campaigned for the vice president included Bon Jovi, Eminem, Lady Gaga, Lizzo, Megan Thee Stallion, Mumford & Sons, Katy Perry, Ricky Martin and Springsteen.

The latter had stoked the ire of the president late last week when he opted to deliver a rant to an audience in Manchester, England, alleging America was “in the hands of a corrupt, incompetent and treasonous administration.”

In response, Trump had slammed the “Highly Overrated” entertainer as “Just a pushy, obnoxious JERK, who fervently supported Crooked Joe Biden, a mentally incompetent FOOL, and our WORST EVER President, who came close to destroying our Country.”

Trump’s call for an investigation of Harris’ second failed presidential campaign comes as “60 Minutes,” CBS News” and parent company Paramount are still embroiled in a $20 billion lawsuit from the commander-in-chief over the editing of an interview with Harris ahead of the election that had shamelessly been nominated for an Emmy Award for “outstanding edited interview.”
