Trump Completely Humiliates CNN’s Kaitlan Collins Over ‘Fake News’ Question [WATCH]

President Donald Trump confronted CNN’s Kaitlan Collins during a live press event at the NATO summit in The Hague, pushing back forcefully against a question about the recent U.S. airstrikes on Iran’s nuclear infrastructure, as reported by The Gateway Pundit.

The exchange began when Collins, representing CNN, asked the president whether he had relied on Israeli intelligence to assess the impact of the U.S. strikes.

Trump, who has frequently criticized CNN and other mainstream outlets as “fake news,” quickly dismissed the network and challenged the framing of the question.

“Go ahead. Oh, fake news CNN? Ayayai, here we go,” Trump said, motioning toward Collins. “Wait ’til you hear this question. You should REALLY say how great our soldiers and warriors are.”

Collins then asked, “Are you relying on Israeli intelligence for your assessment of the impact of the strikes?”

Trump responded by rejecting the suggestion and outlining the broader intelligence used in evaluating the strike’s success.

“No. Also Iran made the statement. Also, if you read the document that was given [to CNN], it said it could be very severe damage, but they didn’t take that.”

“They said it COULD be limited or it COULD be very severe,” Trump explained. “They really didn’t know other than to say it could be limited or it could be very, very severe. And YOU didn’t choose to put that. Since then, we’ve collected additional intelligence.”

The president added:

“We’ve also spoken to people who have seen the site, and the site is OBLITERATED, and we think everything nuclear is down there. They didn’t take it out.”

The exchange drew widespread attention online, with clips of the moment circulated by political commentators and journalists. One post from reporter Eric Daugherty included the footage with the caption, “President Trump just CLOWNED CNN’s Kaitlan Collins. He never misses.”

The back-and-forth came amid controversy over a leaked intelligence assessment obtained by several outlets, including CNN, the Associated Press, and The New York Times, which suggested the strikes had only set back Iran’s nuclear program by a few months.

In response, the Trump administration released a statement from the Israel Atomic Energy Commission (IAEC), disputing those claims. The IAEC’s report stated:

“The devastating U.S. strike on Fordo destroyed the site’s critical infrastructure and rendered the enrichment facility inoperable. We assess that the American strikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities, combined with Israeli strikes on other elements of Iran’s military nuclear program, has set back Iran’s ability to develop nuclear weapons by many years.”

Speaking directly from the IAEC assessment, Trump criticized the press coverage.

“Our pilots were demeaned by Fake News CNN, which is back there… Wasting time because nobody’s watching them,” Trump said. “And The New York Times, they put out a story that said, ‘Maybe they were hit, but it wasn’t so bad.’ Well, it was so bad that it ended the war.”

Later that evening, the president again addressed media reports on Truth Social, writing:

“FAKE NEWS CNN, TOGETHER WITH THE FAILING NEW YORK TIMES, HAVE TEAMED UP IN AN ATTEMPT TO DEMEAN ONE OF THE MOST SUCCESSFUL MILITARY STRIKES IN HISTORY. THE NUCLEAR SITES IN IRAN ARE COMPLETELY DESTROYED! BOTH THE TIMES AND CNN ARE GETTING SLAMMED BY THE PUBLIC!”

The NATO summit continues this week as international leaders discuss global security, defense spending, and regional threats.
